How it Works

​High school volunteers approved by Frederick teachers tutor for free. 
Parents book sessions on Do Re Mi. 
The session takes place on an outside video app like Skype.

Do Re Mi connects students with tutors online!
Frederick is a chapter of the national Do Re Mi Project, which has 150+ volunteers and 400+ students  from 25+ U.S. states!

Find and Book a Tutor!
Find a high school volunteer tutor from the Frederick Area and book tutoring sessions from them on Do Re Mi!
Confirm and Coordinate!
Check your email for a response! Coordinate details like what video app you'll use and the piece that the student will play. 
Have your Free Session!
Students play their piece for the tutor, receive feedback, and work through the piece together!

Student Eligibility and Session Length:

Students must be enrolled in an elementary/middle school that is part of Frederick Area School System or homeschool
Requested session lengths are a maximum of half an hour long
Tutors can adjust session length
All sessions are subject to tutor availability
