My daughter Olivia has a deep desire to sing and we had been looking to find a way to enhance her abilities. When we were fortunate enough to connect with Savannah Speight on the Do Ra Mi project, we felt we found the answer.

Savannah has made Olivia’s lessons so fun and interesting. Savannah has gone as far to teach Olivia, who is 8, about the mechanics of the voice organs and physical functions on how to sing better. She is teaching her musical notation and how songs fit together and the meanings of the different notes, time signatures, scales and arpeggios.

Savannah has also been attentive enough to help me find specific music sites that have songs that will help Olivia and will encourage her to grow as a young singer. She is very communicative with me and the team atmosphere she has created in helping my daughter is very encouraging to me but mainly to Olivia.

During our conversations Savannah has mentioned that she is working towards teaching music, specifically in the voice area. I emphatically believe she will be a blessing to any student that is fortunate to have her as a teacher. I know that Olivia is very pleased and excited about singing with Savannah and talks about her lessons all week!

Another amazing facet that not everyone has is Savannah’s singing abilities. I can only hope that Olivia will become such a talented singer but am confident that with Savannah’s continued support and teaching she might be able to develop her own equally beautiful voice.
