• Williamson County Honor Band member (Concert Band and Jazz Band, since 7th grade)
• Member of the Page High School Wind Ensemble (highest-level auditioned concert ensemble) every year of high school
• I have also conducted research on gender and instrument choice, examining how stereotypes can influence students' decisions and experiences. As a female percussionist, I've seen these challenges firsthand, which is why I'm passionate about helping young musicians choose the instrument that best matches their interests and strengths, not one shaped by gender stereotypes or traditional expectations.
