Ryka teaches both piano and violin to my kids, and she’s truly outstanding. She’s not only a very skilled musician, but also incredibly patient and intuitive with children. She knows how to keep them engaged without ever being boring, encourages them while still holding high standards, and corrects mistakes in a positive and effective way. She has a great sense of when to let them keep playing and when to step in, which makes a huge difference.
She’s also been extremely flexible with scheduling. I’ve had to move things around several times, and she has always been kind, accommodating, and willing to make it work.
If my kids grow up to be like her one day, not just in music but as a person, I would be very happy.
